ECGMA Convention Held In Clayton

There was an abundance of gospel music in Clayton NC on November 12 and 13. The East Coast Gospel Music Association held their 35th convention with music from all eleven of their member groups. The convention was held at Everett Chapel FWB this year, and had good attendance from the gospel music supporters in the area.

Featured on Friday night were the Powell Family, Second Edition, the Crusaders, Master's Hand, and the Rivenbarks. Saturday's lineup included Touch Of Grace, the Oak Grove Boys, Canaanland, Gabriel's Call, the Social Security Boys, and the Horrell Family.

There was a lot happening during the weekend. Tony and Joy Powell welcomed a grandson. Tammy Summerlin sang with two different groups. Gary Burdette did, too. Tammy broke a microphone. And Gospel Notes captured the entire convention on video.

If you didn't make it to the convention (or if you did but want to hear it again), all the singing from both nights is available on the Gospel Notes video page. Enjoy!
