Social Security Boys in Kenly

On Sunday, October 31, the Social Security Boys brought an exciting evening of gospel music to the Hickory Cross Gospel Center near Kenly NC. They sang many of the songs that they are known for, and those in attendance were clearly appreciative.

The group was actually a five-man quartet for this event. Baritone James Austin is still recovering from the effects of a stroke earlier this year, and he was able to sing part of the program this evening. Temporary baritone Tim Wells (of the King's Messengers) continues to assist the Social Security Boys as needed.

More information about the group is available on their website. Their singing dates are included in the Gospel Notes schedule listings.

Some of the songs from this service are available on the Gospel Notes video page.
